Hi friend, I hope you had a good weekend. Mine was spent at the playground with the children (it was a bit rainy, but they didn’t mind), and pottering around the house. I’m now settled down at my laptop writing to you, with a cup of my ever-favourite oat straw tea beside me. I'm so excited to tell you that The Natural Dye Rainbow is now live — my brand new course all about creating a full rainbow of colours using just three traditional dyes: madder root, weld flowers and indigo pigment. It’s something I’ve been dreaming up for a few years, and I’m so happy to finally share it with you. You can join with 40% off using the code FOREST40 — the discount ends next Monday. One of the questions I keep being asked: “But how do you actually get so many colours from just three plants?” The answer is surprisingly simple: layering and overdyeing. It’s basically colour theory 🎨 This is how it works with natural dyes:
And then there’s one extra step that feels like a little secret ingredient: rust water 🫙 By dipping your already-dyed fabric into diluted rust water, you can instantly create a second, darker palette of colours. Light greens become forest greens. Pinks and reds become burgundy. Yellows turn into earthy olives. So from just three dyes, you suddenly have two full rainbows to play with. This is exactly what I teach inside The Natural Dye Rainbow — a complete system for dyeing clothes or fabric in any colour you like using just three traditional dyes. If you’re wondering about anything, just drop me an email. I’d love to chat and help you decide if it’s right for you. Rebecca x P.S. Once you understand this layering approach, you can apply it to so many future projects and create unique colours! |

You can use the code FOREST40 to get 40% off before midnight (GMT) tonight. Now, a little behind-the-scenes moment… I did something a bit scary (for me) last week. I’d been dreaming up the idea for this course for a few years, and I finally brought it to life over the past few weeks. Then I opened the doors last Monday and gently invited people in — half...
Hi friend, A few people have asked whether I’ll be running The Natural Dye Rainbow again, because they don’t have the time to start right now.
