I've just dyed a bundle of raffia to craft into baskets this winter. For me, basket making is the perfect way to sneak in some creative time when the kids are busy doing things around me. Even just weaving a couple of rows leaves me feeling so much better.

On that note, I wanted to mention that the price of my Dye Raffia and Make Baskets course will be going up next week.

This course is a special collaboration with my dear friend Ellie Beck, a talented weaver and textile artist from Australia.

Ellie and I have shared a long-distance friendship for many years, and it was such a joy to create this course together earlier this year.

With over 2 hours of bite-sized video lessons, everything is pre-recorded and ready for you to dive into at your own pace, whenever it suits you.

🍃 I teach the natural dye classes. There are recipes for six plants. But it's not just about dyeing raffia; there are videos for dyeing fabric and wooden beads too!

🪢 Ellie teaches the weaving classes. You'll learn four basket making stitches, plus how to add handles onto your vessels.
